Mountain Electronics, Inc. is celebrating its tenth year in the coin-op and OPL electronics repair industry this month.   “We’ve come a long way in a seemingly short period of time,” says Mountain Electronics President, George Brasington.   “I’m proud that we are able to stay on the cutting edge of technology.  The computer boards continue to change and get more complicated every year, but our talented technicians love nothing more than figuring out the inner workings of a new control board, and creating a new test simulator that reproduces every function of the machine.  But recently we’ve grown in more ways than just the number of test simulators on the shelf.”
Over the past year, Mountain Electronics has expanded its facility, staff, and operations in order to meet customer demand for high quality, affordable computer board repairs.  Last spring, Mountain Electronics doubled its facility size in order to expand the shipping and receiving departments, and add more tech rooms.

Two full-time technicians were hired this past year.  Lucy Doll, who has many years of customer service experience, was recruited as Office Manager last fall.  As the number of incoming shipments has steadily increased, Miles Dreyer was hired this spring to manage the Receiving Department.  “We feel so blessed to have been able to expand and employ more people during such hard economic times” says Vice President, Whitney Brasington.

Mountain Electronics, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina, sits below the summit of Mt. Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi River.   This beautiful location inspires the staff of Mountain Electronics to maintain peak performance in providing excellent customer service, reliable repairs, and quick turnaround times.  For more information, visit our website at www.mountain-electronics.com for more information, or call us at 800-370-6053.
