We wanted to let you know of a few changes that will be happening in May.
To ensure the best repairs and streamline our billing process for you, we will start incorporating the cost of touch pads into the repair cost of control boards starting May 1st. THIS WILL NOT RESULT IN A PRICE INCREASE FOR YOU. (Hooray!!) This simply removes the “additional parts” line item which will result in a cleaner invoice for you. Replacing touch pads as part of our standard remanufacturing process over the past 5 years has cut our warranty rate in half, which saves you time and money by keeping your machines running smoothly for longer.
Now here’s the part you’re not going to like but has become necessary. We are having to increase the RUSH price to $50/item. We have been inundated with RUSH orders this year, and because this service puts these orders at the front of the line, it is very disruptive to the workflow process for our technicians. We’re happy to still provide this expedited service to those who truly need it, but receiving less rush orders allows us to process other orders in a more timely and efficient fashion.
The following prices will go into effect on May 1st:
- RUSH fee will be $50/item
- Ignitor repair prices will be $55 – these haven’t increased in price since 2018!
- Some $75 repairs will now to $95 due to the rise in cost of parts required
- Returning unrepairable parts will now cost $15 each – this is just a fraction of the cost of parts and labor that we’ve put into the board to try repairing it, not to mention the return shipping fee – but we are still happy to recycle unrepairable boards for no charge!
- Warranty returns that only need programming (which could have been performed by the customer from their machine) will incur a $50 programming fee. We are happy to provide programming manuals upon request.
Shipping costs continue to skyrocket, which is the driver for most of these price increases. The free shipping labels that we provide from our website cost us an average of $25 per box. (Yikes!)
