Start Pulse Value (PLSE)

This option can be used if you are using an aftermarket or central pay system. It lets you program the value of the start pulse sent by a card reader. 

1. Enter Manual Mode: Follow the steps in the “Entering Manual Mode” section. 
2. Access programming: Press LOW TEMP (∧) or DELICATES (∨) until “PrOg” appears in the Four-Digit Display, then press START (enter). “AtS” will appear. 
3. Press LOW TEMP (∧) or DELICATES (∨) to find “PLSE,” then press START (enter). 
4. The rightmost digit will flash. Use LOW TEMP (∧) to increase or DELICATES (∨) to decrease the value. 
   1. Note: The start pulse can be set from 0 to 9999. The default value is 25. 
5. Press START (enter) to save the digit and move to the next one. 
6. Repeat for all four digits. 
7. Once all 4 digits have been entered and you press START (enter) for the last time, the new start pulse value will be saved, and the display will show “CyCL” (Cycle Time). 
8. To exit programming: Ensure an option is displayed (not a value). Press and hold HIGH TEMP and MED TEMP simultaneously. The control will return to its previous mode.
